Madison Bottorff, MSW, LCSW
(She/Her)
Licensed Psychotherapist (#73386) & Clinical Lead

I practice therapy with a more humanistic approach that is less buttoned up and more relaxed and casual. I value my client’s comfortability and want there to be genuine connection in our relationship. We will laugh, at the very least. I love supporting women, girls and mothers in breaking free from the molds that they might find themselves trying to fit into. I want mothers to know that they are not alone in the challenging mix of emotions that mothering includes but isn’t often talked about. We’ll work together in exploring your identity, building confidence and finding a path forward in your life that feels more empowered and connected to your true desires and needs.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lic # 73386) with a master’s degree from UCLA. I have 13 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. I have experience providing training to parent groups, teachers and other professionals/colleagues in various areas related to mental health and psychotherapy and provide supervision to the other therapists in our practice. My intentions are to improve your overall well-being through creative goal setting, engaging conversation and utilizing play, writing, and art as needed to provide a more comfortable exploration of experiences and identity.

I am certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy and offer this highly effective therapeutic model to infants/young children (ages 0-7 years) and their families. I have extensive training in trauma and attachment theory. I have worked with adults and children with various symptoms including those related to depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment disruptions, sensory processing differences, neuro-divergence, eating disorders and other psychiatric disorders. There’s a special place in my practice for supporting mothers through the 4 trimesters of pregnancy and into motherhood. I really love being a therapist!
